The video The Inner Circle shows the artist walking the same rectangular path across a grassy field for one hour every day over a period of 30 days. Through this repetitive, monotonous movement, an increasingly pronounced path is worn into the grass. The field becomes a visible record of the action and the passage of time. Gradually, the trace left behind creates a spatial division between an interior and an exterior.
